Congratulations to Jim & Kelly - October 9, 2009 !!

This glamourous Californian couple, engaged for about a year and still not finding the time to plan a wedding, decided to slip away from their busy careers and elope to Paris. They were persuaded to come to the City of Lights after seeing the work of One & Only Paris Photography, but realized that planning a wedding from the American west coast was going to be a challenge.
Voilà - a great reason to get in touch with Rendez-vous in Paris!
Right from our first stages of planning I saw that in place of a Bridezilla, I had a very involved groom! Little by little, I began to understand that this groom, who had lived briefly in Paris in the past, wanted to show off the best of this splendid city to his soon-to-be bride. This meant that her first trip to Paris had to be perfect!
We were able to give Jim & Kelly just what they wanted, a very private and intimate, but très chic wedding. Their wedding date was the day after their arrival in Paris, leaving them tired but excited, and with plenty of time to honeymoon in Paris after.
Kelly got ready in a sumptuous 6th arrondissement hotel, while Jim had a bachelor photo session in the plush hotel bar.
The photographers got some great shots of some of the details we planned!
Then a very classy white Bentley took the couple to the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame for some great shots to send home to the family.
To include those most important family members in their Elopement ceremony, we placed wedding photos of both Jim & Kelly's parents on the "alter" table. They are both still married after 40 some years! That should bring good karma to Jim & Kelly’s married life!
And last but not least, here are some lovely ceremony shots!
Thank you to Jim & Kelly for choosing Rendez-vous in Paris to plan and coordinate your unforgettable day! And Congratulations on your wedding!! May your marriage be filled with as much happiness and love as we witnessed the 9th of October in Paris!
